About Satluj Full Movie, Watch Online, Diljit Dosanjh 2026

Welcome to satlujfullmovie.online, your dedicated platform for accessing and celebrating the landmark 2026 Indian biographical drama Satluj, starring Diljit Dosanjh. We are committed to preserving the legacy of Jaswant Singh Khalra and ensuring that this powerful story of courage, human rights, and state accountability reaches audiences worldwide, despite censorship challenges.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide uninterrupted, uncensored access to Satluj—a film that chronicles the relentless investigation of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra into the enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings of over 25,000 Sikh youths during Punjab's separatist insurgency. We believe in the right to truth and the power of cinema to spark dialogue, and we strive to make this critically acclaimed film available to all who seek to understand this pivotal chapter in Indian history.

Our Values

  • Truth and Transparency: We uphold the factual narrative of Khalra's life and work, resisting any form of distortion or suppression.
  • Defiance Against Censorship: Inspired by the film's own battle with the CBFC—which demanded up to 127 cuts and a title change—we stand firmly against unjust censorship and advocate for artistic freedom.
  • Community and Seva: We honor the viral movement of audiences who circulated downloaded copies and organized public screenings as acts of 'seva' (selfless service), fostering a community that values resistance and solidarity.
  • Accessibility: We ensure that the film remains available to viewers in India and beyond, especially after its abrupt removal from ZEE5 on July 5, 2026, just two days after its premiere.

Our History

Our journey began in the wake of the film's tumultuous release. Directed by Honey Trehan and produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies with MacGuffin Pictures, Satluj (originally titled Ghallughara and later Punjab '95) faced a three-year-long battle with India's Central Board of Film Certification. The CBFC demanded 127 cuts, a title change, and objected to references of Khalra's name and police violence. The makers withdrew from a theatrical release and canceled its 2023 Toronto International Film Festival premiere.

The film finally premiered uncut on ZEE5 on July 3, 2026, under the title Satluj, but was removed for Indian viewers just two days later on July 5, with ZEE5 citing 'current developments' and the I&B Ministry stating it lacked required certification. In response, a grassroots movement emerged: audiences downloaded copies, organized public screenings in villages across Punjab and Rajasthan, and treated the film as an act of 'seva.' We launched this platform to support that movement, ensuring that the story of Jaswant Singh Khalra—his investigation into illegal mass cremations, his abduction, torture, and murder by Punjab Police officers in 1995—continues to inspire and educate.

Today, Satluj holds a 9.4 IMDb rating and is hailed as one of the most talked-about and critically acclaimed Indian films of 2026, a symbol of defiance against censorship. We are proud to be part of its legacy.
